Best playgrounds in Dublin with sand pit

Does your little one love playing in the sand, but you do not have a sand pit at home? Here is the list of the best playgrounds in Dublin where you'd better be prepared that your kids will be mucky...

Pack the bucket and the spade and check out these places!

Cabinteely Park playground

 Simply the best. Believe me.

Chimney Park playground

Not a big playground, but the sand is impressive.

Malahide Demesne Regional playground

The North side's Cabinteely Park.

Willie Pearse Park playground

This is a new one in a great little playground.

Bray Seafront playground

This is a tricky one, but I think this playground is the closest to a nice beach where there is some sand, too.

And here are some other sand pits in Dublin, but unfortunately these are not free to use:

Fort Lucan Adventure Centre

Children under 2 are free, adult entry is €4 including a tea / coffee.

Powerscourt Waterfall

The most beautiful surroundings of all.

Killruddery House and Gardens

Children under 4 are free, adult entry to the gardens is €7,5.

Unfortunately the sand disappeared from Marlay park playground. Sad news.

Have Fun! And at least go to the closest sandy beach to find some sand. :)
