Bloom in the Park in Phoenix Park - 1 - 5 June

 

Celebrate garden life at Ireland's largest and most spectacular gardening event. Hosted by Bord Bia, Bloom is taking place this year in the Phoenix Park and is set to attract over 90,000 visitors throughout the event. There will be something for everyone with wonderful gardens, floral displays, farmers market, entertainment stages, family fun zone and so much more.

 

Wild Air Run at Malahide Castle and Gardens - 3 June

 

The Super Milk Wild Air Run is an experience with a difference. All ages (7+) and fitness levels can enjoy Ireland’s first inflatable obstacle course.

Madagascar (Sensory Friendly Screening) at Draiocht - 3 June

 

For this sensory friendly screening the volume is lowered, the auditorium lights are left on at a low level so the auditorium won't be in total darkness, we have restricted the capacity and viewers can make noise and move around the auditorium space if they wish.

 

Dublin Port River Fest - 3 - 5 June

 

This Bank Holiday North Wall Quay will once again play host to the Dublin Port Riverfest. 

 

Bray Seafront Show & Picnic - 4 June

 

Fun filled family day on Bray seafront. Entertainment, face painting and much more. No car necessary to join in the day, simply bring a picnic & enjoy! All funds raised with go to Purple House Cancer Support.

Sodeisha Family Workshop in the National Gallery of Ireland - 4 June

 

Join ceramic artist Katharine West for a tour of new exhibition then learn to experiment through clay and process to exploit this unique tactile, malleable material. Art Materials provided. Booking is required, suitable for families and kids over 7. 

 

Bug Blitz in Herbert Park and Griffeen Park - 4 June

 

Who wants to see some insects?? Explore the park and find some creepy crawlerys with our nets, bug jars and magnifying glasses. Free Sunday Sketching in Hugh Lane Gallery - 4 June

 

During these workshops for families we invite you to explore and respond to our permanent collection and temporary exhibitions such as Port Life: Eugeen van Mieghem, through discussion and drawing. Parents must stay with children at all times. Bring your own sketchbook along or avail of the drawing materials provided. Suitable for kids over 4.

 

Weekly Family Workshop at IMMA - 4 June

 

Get creative together as a family, explore artworks with IMMA staff, and enjoy a hands-on workshop in the galleries. Explorer’s drop-in, fun and free.

 

International Harbour Food Festival in Dun Laoghaire - 4 & 5 June

 

The International Harbour Food Festival on Sunday June 4th and Monday June 5th 2017 on the East Pier will celebrate the Bicentenary of Dún Laoghaire Harbour with Food Stalls representing countries from around the world, an Outdoor Marine Art Exhibition, Historic Street Theatre performances, Bands on the Bandstand and Strolling Entertainers.
