A day-long free festival of hackers, crafters, coders, DIYers and curious inventors. Attention all makers, tinkerers, inventors, hackers and do-it-yourselfers: A creative carnival of show and tell, Dublin Maker, is set to take over Merrion Square this Summer. Transforming it into a spectacular family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness and we want you join us.

Back to the Bronze Age: drop-in activity in the National Museum of Ireland (Archaeology) - 22 July

 

What was life like in Ireland during the Bronze Age? Drop into our learning space to handle replica artefacts and find out how people in Ireland in Prehistoric times used metal for their weapons and tools. Then create your very own lunula to take home! Suitable for kids over 8.

Bray Air Display - 22 & 23 July

 

Ireland's biggest air festival. As well as the incredible display in the skies over Bray there will be a food and craft village featuring artisan food and specialist craft stalls as well as musical entertainment, a family fun fair or why not take to the skies to experience the thrill and exhilaration of a helicopter pleasure flight on either day.
