Yarn Storytelling festival in Killruddery House - 11 & 18 Nov

 

Yarn returns to the Shoot Room at Killruddery Farm Market with two events this Novemeber. We will have the fire lit, ready for some of Ireland's finest storytelling, suitable for a family audience but not very little ones. There is no need to book for these events and they are free to all, but come early as space is limited and will be allocated on a first come basis.

Music Gigs: Space in the Ark - 18 Nov

 

Using unusual sounds on unfamiliar instruments, SPACE will take you on an imaginative voyage to the stars complete with orbiting instruments, galactic games and original songs. Musicians Nico and Martin bring you an interactive music performance featuring their trademark wit, gentle energy and a little bit of chaos. Suitable for kids over 6. 

 

Credible Likeable Superstar Role Model film-screening in The New Theatre - 18 Nov

 

Suitable for teenagers. Tickets are €10 per person.

 

Survival: Staying Warm workshop in Turvey Park - 18 Nov

 

Learn how primitive man would have stayed warm whilst living in the forest. A survival event were we will be making small fires using natural material and trying different methods before finishing with toasted marshmallows and smoors. Booking is essential.

Allow Scientific Sue to blow your mind as you join her on her latest journey of scientific discovery - the magical world of bubbles! With the help of lots of volunteers, Sue will attempt to show many incredible bubble tricks and the science behind them!

Learn how different animals communicate and try out some fun games as we attempt to chat like animals. Can you do a waggle dance like a bee, heed warning calls to avoid danger or follow a trail of smells to find food? Come along and find out! Booking is essential.
