Cabinteely Park playground
Old Bray Road, Cabinteely, Dublin 18
Cabinteely Park adventure playground is spacious and fascinating for all ages. There is much to do if you are with a toddler (unfortunately there are only two baby swings, but the toddler slide unit is safe and cosy, there are springers, play panels and there is a terrific sand pit with diggers and water feature as well) or if you visit the playground with an older kid, he will definitely like it too, due to the massive slide unit, the unique single point swing, the long zip wire, the various balancing units, the high climbing structures and the other exciting playing equipment. Besides the single point swing, our personal favourites are the willow tunnels and the small maze. The only drawback of the playground is that if we do not count on the one next to the baby swings, there is no suitable swing for older kids. Otherwise, even if the playground was not cool, it would be worth visiting Cabinteely park, because it is gorgeous and offers perfect spots to have a picnic, play frisbee or simply take a walk and admire the view of 45 hectares of greenery. Near Cabinteely House (close to Park Drive entrance), there is also a cafe (The Stable Yard) and a Japanese Garden that should not be missed either if you decide to visit the park and the playground.
